Pump Continues to run after taps turned off
Hi
I've had several problems with my pulsacoil 2000 recently so I've replaced the pump, both thermostats and the T1 sensor (when I had 7 red flashes on the PCB). The exchanger has been cleaned out and both immersion elements are working okay and water heats up. But now after I thought I had it all fixed, the pump is continuing to run idefinately after the hot tap is turned off. I can only get it to stop by turning the whole unit off and back on again.
Any suggestions? Could it be the T2 sensor? Red light is flashing only twice, so normal.
Also, my plumber has installed a 'normal' 3 speed pump. Will that work okay?
Thanks

Re: Pump Continues to run after taps turned off
Sounds like pump drive PCB is playing up.
Check that all sensor wires are in their correct places!
And if you look on here;
Warning about pumps!
No the pump is wrong.
It is not designed to go low enough voltage wise.

Normal 3 speed pump?
The pump for a Pulsacoil 2000 should be a 15-50X18 modulating pump. Please confirm you have this one and no other pump. Also check to make sure no one has bypassed the pump speed control PCB.
