New pump and circuit board Empty New pump and circuit board

I have had a new pump and circuit board fitted to boiler mate, rads drained of brown sludge and still my heaters are lukewarm and minimum hot water? Tank would not fill and plumber manually filled it . Plumber siad it might take a day or two to get back to normal!
Could it be anything to do with the thermostat which is in the lower ground hall where it is draughty?

Cold feed was blocked so your guy back filled it.
