No DHW or CH. only switch works.
Due to a broken old style thermostat (only the dial) I tried to fit a digital Honeywell 90e and didn't wire it correctly causing short circuit. I replaced the old stat and nothing on the ACB. I changed the fuse on the ACB and now I get the ON and the little . Flashing but no other lights or lines on? I've reset the ACB using the pin5 and all lights flash in turn and it resets with two lines above the ON. When I then remove the pin5 it goes back to just the ON and no LEDS. I've also noticed that the orange light on the old room thermostat doesn't come on even if I put the clock on constant. The clock moves but when you switch between off, constant and timed nothing happens. clock is manual. The boiler never relit, however, there is power to it but it doesn't fire on reset. Turn on hot taps, nothing happens Currently on switch which works fine but must be costing me an arm and a leg! PS no abuse please wish I'd never touched the stat!

sorry mate,
with your room stat mistake you blow your PCB triaxe, so you will need a new PCB

Thanks for the swift reply, its what I suspected although not what i wanted to hear. I need to find someone in the North West who can fit the new part and wire in thge digital stat correctly. Any ideas?

For your Room Stat, I would always recommended to go for an Danfoss TP5000 SI, digital 5/2 programmer ( Gledhill approved, used as standard thermostat on all Electramate Boiler ( from model 2000 onwards) from the manufacturer)
on those you only need a Live and a Switch Live to your Boilermate ,NO Neutral !!!!
I have seen this happens ( blown PCB's) also on new build sites , installed from a " qualified electrician !!!",
to fit a new PCB is simple , unplug , reinsert the little Jumper from your old PCB !!! to the new and replug the PCB back in ( new PCB cost about £225 to 285 on open market supply I guess) I personally would not recommend this , but you also can get a reconditioned PCB for about £180, if this helps.
for an competent engineer? , look up on this forum ( specially for formal Gledhill engineers, there are sum !)
My advice would be , if someone is coming up and advise you to get a new Boiler ( unless yours is leaking out of the main Body of your Boilermate ), means he has no knowledge about any Gledhill repair, so send them home ! ( this is only my personal ,and my customers opinion, so don't get this wrong)
