Fan running continuously on Gulfstream 2000 Empty Fan running continuously on Gulfstream 2000

Hello there Gulfstream 2000 readers,

I have been a proud Gulfstream 2000 owner for 2 years now, having moved into a 7 year old house. In that 2 years I have done a number of repairs on the boiler, however the latest issue has flummoxed me somewhat. The boiler fan is running continuously, even when the thermal store has reached temperature, there is no draw on the hot water and the central heating is disabled. Is this normal? The fan is not running very fast, however it never actually stops to the point of being inaudible.

If I disconnect the fan from the control board when the system is live, the fan reaches maximum speed, and plugging it back in again reduces the speed again. Does anyone have any experience of this issue?

Many thanks in advance for any help that you can offer!

Peter

I do not work on the GS 2000's
But looking at the book it does look like GT148 Fan PCB.
Or the ACB.
You need to get a gas safe engineer for this problem.
I do not advise you to mess with this unit.
