Wiring Under Floor Heating
I have a Boilermate 2000 with conventional radiators upstairs and UFH downstairs. When heating from cold, eg. when returning from holiday the radiators do not come on until the store has reached 60C which is what you would expect. However the UFH starts straight away. I have read the instructions and looked at the ACB (PCB) and cant find a connection with gives a switched live only once the store is at 60C. I would have expected pin 9 on the terminal block to only go live once the store is at temp.
Because of the large thermal mass of the UFH system which is installed under flagstones, the boiler is unable to get the store up to a working temperature for several hours. Of course I can turn the UFH off, wait for the store to come up and then turn it on.
If anyone has any ideas that would be great.
Thanks.

Re: Wiring Under Floor Heating
It may be that the UF has been taking off the boiler supply / pump?
Is there a motorised valve on the UF any where?
Look in a ground floor cupboard. You should find a manifold I would think.
Or take some pictures and post.
Or more information.

Thanks for the reply Mike.
Yes there are two motorised valves. One for the radiator circuit and one for the UFH. The supply is from pin 9 on the terminal block. This is labelled 'room stat' and indeed it goes to the room stat(s) and when these activate switches the UFH on regardless of the store temp. The pump in the Boilermate doesn't start until the store reaches 60C but the UFH pump still pulls HW from the store past the pump.

Re: Wiring Under Floor Heating
That sounds correct to me.
UF does take a long time from start up.
And once winter arrives it is normally kept ticking over.
