Leak at brass casting Empty Leak at brass casting

Post  avebury Sun Mar 09, 2014 5:40 am

Hi

I'm new to the forum. My name is Ben.

I got a leak at the brass casting of the main pipe to the heat plate exchanger, I opened the casting and found that the gasket was completely degraded, I had removed the old gasket now and planning to get a new one. Does anyone know whats the part number and where can I get a replacement?

Thanks

Ben

Welcome Ben,

This is a bit of a puzzle. There are four pipes connecting to the heat exchanger, and they all use round neoprene washers available from plumbers' merchants. No brass castings involved!

I'm wondering if you mean something else...
