No lights on pulsacoil 2000
Hi
I have a pulsacoil 2000, installed in a new build apartment in 2005, it runs on economy 7 over night and has a single button on the wall which says boost.
In the last year the amount of hot water we get from the system has decreased significantly and at one point we didn't get any, we topped up the plastic tank on the top and we started to get some again, however still not very much.
Yesterday we stopped getting any at all and both the green control circuit light and red fault light are off, I have again filled the tank as it was low but still nothing.
I have changed the fuse on the pump as I couldn't hear it running and when I did this there was a wurring noise again, but still no hot water and no lights on the front.
Any help would be great fully received

If you are losing water check the unit for leaks.
And the heaters too.

I don't think any water is being lost, I've not taken the front off yet but there's bonsigns of it from any where else and the neighbours underneath have not complained of drips etc

How much water / topping up have you had to do?
With a PC 2000.
When working / hot.
If there is a leak. Whether internal or heaters etc. It may not show for a long time.
Take the 2 screws out and remove the cover.
Because what ever is wrong 99% sure it is behind that cover.

Had to put quite a bit in there, I can't find any moisture any where around the unit so can't see where it would be going if it were leaking.
Having filled it up and left it to run for 24 hours there is still no hot water and none of the pipes are warm/hot suggesting it's not heating at all.
The green circuit light did come on this morning but is now back off, I'm not sure if this should be on constantly or only when it's running on the economy 7?
I've got the cover off, and on the circuit board is a flashing red light, it flashes twice in quick succession and then goes off for a second and repeats, does this tell me anything?
There is a faint electrical buzzing noise that goes off when I turn the pump switch off
I'm going to try and re set the system as I've read some where in here how to do it.

I have also just taken the covers off of what I'm guessing is a thermal cups and the little black buttons were out, I'm guessing they've tripped so have pushed them back in? Have put everything back together and am hoping this may have been the problem

Buts there's still no green circuit light which worries me although I'm still not sure whether they should be on all day!

Re: No lights on pulsacoil 2000
Hi, further to this, we have had hot water for the last week, but it has now gone again,
I took the front off and the two round sensors/therma couples? Have a small black switch on them which had both tripped, I pushed a small pointed item into them and they re set, this seemed to work.
They have both tripped back out today, the header tank is still full so it's not that, any help?
Could it be a sensor has gone, over heating and tripping them out? It has been coming out hotter than usual, if so where would I find the sensor on the boiler? And where can I get the part from??
Cheers in advance
