Disconnected Sensor Primary DHW
I'm new to this type of appliance, apologies if if this sounds like a newbie question. The hot water temperature coming out if the taps varies wildly and does not correspond to that shown on the panel so I'm going to replace the DHW temperature sensor.
While troubleshooting I noticed there is a temperature sensor on the input of the primary of the DHW heat exchanger which was tucked behind the exchanger and clearly never connected i.e. I don't suspect it, however I'm curious as to whether it can be connected somewhere e.g. to improve the control of the DHW temperature. Any ideas?
TIA
Mike

You can download the manual online it has a wiring diagram that shows which sensor goes where. The sensors do control the hot water temp.

Re: Disconnected Sensor Primary DHW
Many thanks for responding and for the links. I can see from that it's the outlet ( rather than inlet ) and it's called the PHE sensor, very useful in trying to work it out. Interestingly the connections on the board for the PHE are 'occupied' i.e. the wiring looks the same with doubled-up connections in those top-right terminals so next time I visit that client I'll investigte further.

Mike
