Pulsacoil 2000 - no hot water Empty Pulsacoil 2000 - no hot water

Hi there

I have a Pulsacoil 2000 with no hot water. The store is cold which probably accounts for this.
I have 240V on the connector block for mains incoming and i have 240v on the incoming side
for the on peak element but if i put my meter on the opposite side of the connector block
for the on peak element i have 0v ? the voltage at the element also reads 0v. Both elements read 19ohms
which i assume means they are good. The store overheat switch has been removed and bridged (modified).
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Must be a dodgy connection in the connector block then!

There must also be a problem with the off peak heater or its supply or the unit would warm up overnight anyway. But you are on the right track measuring the voltages and resistances.

Pulsacoil 2000 - no hot water Empty Also check . . .

Also check the thermostat rods in the elements are working. If these are faulty then the supply would not pass them. Also check that the overheat stat has not tripped.
