PulsaCoil iii
Good morning,
I moved into my flat on the 30th September and other than noticing that i didnt really get much hot water i didnt think there was any problem. that was until i got my electricity bill on the 8th December for £270 covering the period from 30th Sept - 8th Dec. This seemed to me to be very high. I live in the flat with my fiancee and we both work during the day. We have an economy 7 control unit and have set the heating and the hot water to come on between 5-7 in the monring and 4-6 in the evening, to make sure the flat is hot when we wake and hot when we get home. this is not the case as the heating is random and doesnt turn on when its meant to and just ocmes on at random time. I have checked the meter readings and on a daily basis it is propably using around 50 units a day, which i have been advised is extremely high.
Also we do not seem to get very much hot water. regardless of whether the booster switch is on we only get enough hot water to fill half a bath tub or enough to run the shower for 8 mins before it goes completely cold. It then takes about 12 hours before there is any hot water again.
Our landlord claims to have had an engineer round who has inspected the boiler but has advised that there is noting wrong with it, i find this hard to believe.
Can anyone adivse me on what could be causing this.
thank you

Re: PulsaCoil iii
get your electricity supplier to check your timeclock i have had several that have been incorrectly set up recently that maybe why everything is a bit sporadic.

Hi Mark,
I believe you spoke to me over the phone tonight in regards to my boiler, where the 2 green lights on the front of the boiler are not on. I am still trying to get in touch with my landlord to request that they get the engineer back out to have another look.
Thank you for all your help you are a life saver and if we need any further help we will give you another ring.
Thanks
Chris Beatty
