Hot Taps but Cold Shower!
Hi There,
I am new to this site so forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere.
I have a PulsaCoil A-Class fitted approx 3 1/2 years ago. The Hot water is delivered to the taps really quickly and is really hot. However, over the past 3 years the time taken for the shower to warm up has increased to aroud 15mins! and the maimum temperature is only just warm enough to be comfortable. (Not warm enough in the recent weather!). Any ideas why?
I live in an area with hard water and suspect that the shower fittings have become clogged with limescale. If I want to remove the fittings and clean them out, I presume I need to turn off the stop cock first. Do I need to do any more than this? (e.g. drain the currently stored hot water etc?)
Many Thanks
Scott

Re: Hot Taps but Cold Shower!
just turn of the mains supply usually under the kitchen sink.
also check for inline strainers that may also be blocked and reducing water flow.
theres an big estate in stevenage that i cover regular and the problem was 15mm strainers fitted under the bath !!!!!!!!
hope this helps
