boilemate ov sol a-class
hi all
right i have major issues with many, Many of these units. up to 85
main one being that these store are over shooting their max store set point...im talking up to 90oC and above, these systems where installed on an eco park..can any one shed any light as to why these stores are behaving in such a way..
second, does the solar take priority over the boiler to heat the store?#
should the time clocks be set to constant? heating and hot water? - asking because a gledhill specialist seems to think they should. ( supposedly to prevent the boiler cycling?) this intern seems pointless as this will not allow the solar to heat store?
why is there no control of the solar side? no controller, no means to switch off for maintenance!!
the more i look into this seems that these systems have been wired up incorrectly
also does anyone have a complete list of fault codes?? am i gonna get charged for it?
i get fault code 29 c- locations,C-locations?????????????????
potentially these systems could all well be ripped out? main contractor not intrested, installer ripping people off for replairs not intrested?
these systemsa re 6 yrs old, some have never worked correctly..
any help or advice would be most helpfull

Re: boilemate ov sol a-class
You need to chat with Gledhill.
If 85 units are involved.
Fault code 29 might be relay.
Also the fault codes will stay on the system until the 16th then drop off.
No way to clear them.
I write inside the unit with a marker pen, the fault code, date and remedy etc..
That is for myself and perhaps anyone else.
Talk to Gledhill, get the right guy and you should be ok.
