Safe to turn off Pulsacoil 2000 while on holiday? Empty Safe to turn off Pulsacoil 2000 while on holiday?

Hi,
I will be going on holiday for almost 3 weeks.
Unfortunately I don't know if it's safe to turn off the Pulsacoil 2000 in our flat.
It is connected to a newlec timer.
Would it be ok to just put the timer in the off position? From what I understand, this will only turn off the heating elements on the pulsacoil unit, but wont power it off completely. Would that work?
I know that the unit is very efficient, but I guess there will still be electricity usage to keep the water hot, but we will not be using it so it will be just a waste of energy.

If possible, what would be the best way to turn it off, and then turning it on again when I return?
Thanks in advance!

Turn off the heaters.
But leave the unit with a supply on.
As this runs the pump every 48 hours or so.
But I will warn you.
Most PC 2000's are fine when hot.
But turn them off and let them cool down.
They can start leaking.
Expansion & contraction !
