As I did not get a reply to the earlier thread, could someone tell me how you bleed the whole system in a Pulsacoil 2000?

You can.
Make sure top tank is full.
Put hose on both drain offs (one at a time will do)
Drain water and ensure water level in top tank drops
Also bleed pump by removing big screw on front of pump

One at the bottom of the unit.
One on the right hand side near the DHW pump
Don't get water on / over the pump!
