Thermostat
Where can I buy a new stat from in the Birmingham area. I have removed this from the immersion heater as it tested faulty, but need to get a replacement?

Re: Thermostat
Parts can be obtained from segel.co.uk
If it's the overheat thermodtat, it can normally be reset by simply pressing the brown button on the front of it.
If it's the immersion thermostat and is blue in colour then it has to be replaced, but if it is turquoise then there is a small black reset button in the head that can be reset by pushing it in with the tip of a pen (when it trips out the black button becomes flush with the top of the thermostat. When it is recessed by 1/4" it hasn't cut out).
