Everything seems fine but NO HOT water!!
Hi: I just moved into my flat that was unused for 10 months or so, switched on pulsaocoil 2000, kept it over night, did not get hot water, checked off peak, that was not triggered on, kept on peak ON for quite a while, still did not get hot water, so started reading past experiences in this forum, checked green indicator light which is on and red indicator light is off; The over head water was very small, so topped it to half the container level; opened the front cover to check the LED, found that to be 2 per second which I guess is normal, still just to be safe spotted the black reset button on both the thermostats, pressed them with a screw driver but did not hear the tick sound, don't know where I am going with this. Everything seems to be fine but no hot water. It seems to start ( based on the noise coming from heating water from the immersion rods) but gets trigger of in a minute and then after 10 minutes, it seems to start but again gets triggered to off. So I suspected the thermostat over heat trigger not working properly but could not catch when I press the reset...
Help needed urgently please!!

Any good electrician can check the rod stats and heaters for you.
Has your PC2000 got a relay?
If the unit is not hot, then no hot water.
Is the unit full?
Being unused for 10 months may be why you have problems.
Was it off?
Was it drained?

Re: Everything seems fine but NO HOT water!!
Today I got an electrician to check and he found everything alright but pump was not running, some how I did not realize that, he opened the pump cover, unscrewed the central bolt in the pump, pushed with screw driver, voila! The pump started running! Hot water started coming... It seems because it was more than a year, the over head tank water dried out, the pump seems to have seized! When I filled water to the over head tank, still I did not help the pump to restart, it was the repair man who spotted it!
P.S: I now realize that both the immersion rods are over due for replacement!! Tips appreciated!!
