Repairs in Ely, Cambridgeshire Area

looking for an engineer in my area, having problems with lack of hot water and being a single female have no idea where to start!!

did look at the list of repair people on this site and have tried google but the only guy i can find i have tried to contact previously and he never gets back to me so am not sure if he is still actually in this line of work.

there is several deveopments built in my area and i assume we all have the same type of heating/hot water but i just cannot see where to go to find anyone that knows the system to repair and dont really want to pay an engineer that is not sure how to work on this and he charges and dosn't fix properly.

guess i am stuck with the cold showers - brrrrrrr

yep that's the guy i have tried to contact on numerous occasions but he never gets back to me so don't think he wants the work!

Hi Caz,
Google up Gledhill repairs for your area.
Try it different ways.
Or contact Gledhill to see if they can recommend some one.
I will come to Ely if you are really stuck.
But the cost in time and travel will make it expensive.

thanks for that Mike, google dosn't find anyone have tried loads of ways. (only the guy that dosn't respond)

would be expensive as you say to get you to come out this way so will have to leave that as a last resort! i do thank you for the offer though and will keep it in mind.

someone could make a killing in Cambridgeshire if they worked on Gledhill repairs as there are tons of new builds in this area built by Persimmon that have this system.

i also found this guy on a web site (First response Gledhill Engineers) and have arranged a visit for Monday. ooops didn't know he lived that far!! might have been cheaper to have had you come out!

reason i picked the other guy is because he has on his web that he does work in Peterborough which is in Cambs so thought he was nearer.
