can anyone please recommend a good engineer in the York area that can replace pulsacoil thermostat pockets without ripping me off .

Hi you can't replace a thermostat pocket, if the thermostat pocket is leaking you will need to have the entire immersion element replaced. Best to Google or Yahoo "Pulsacoil repair york"
