PulsaCoil A-Class - Leaking Empty PulsaCoil A-Class - Leaking

Post  Beachy007 Tue Feb 14, 2012 10:18 am

Just found a leak with our pulsacoil, I've taken the housing off and located the leak, sorry I'm unsure of the part name, but it is inside the bottom black housing which contains the wiring, the hole just above the wiring is leaking water, does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this and how easy it will be to repair?

Thanks

Hi

The picture you have posted is of one of the heating elements. If you have water leaking out of the hole in it, then the element pocket has failed and the unit will require draining to replace the element.

Also you can see the earth is realy corroded

My only worry is that it also leaking into the bottom element and that was a little bit damp. hoping it wouldn't cause anymore issues.
