Boilermate2000, heating on when both thermostat and timer switched off!

Hi, my heating is on constantly despite the wall thermostat being turned right down and the timer on the boilermate being switched off. System is 7 years old and PCB was renewed 2 years ago ! Have switched everything off and back on again but no luck resetting. Surely not another PCB ..... Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Look at the PCB display.
But it does sound like the PCB
Lightening strikes in and around your area can take them out
And power surges from the mains supply.
You had any other things go wrong?
What about neighbours?

Thanks Mike, we had a power surge last week and this happened 2-3days later. Neighbours that I spoke to are all fine. Actually met the couple I bought house from and they have had PCB renewed as well before I moved in, so this could be no.3 .....

Well you need to look at surge / spike protection!

Thanks Mike, switched off completely as was away for a weeks holiday, now back and had an electrician out to look at surge / spike as per your recommendation. Everything all ok and Circuit Breaker in place.
Whilst here, he took the front off the boilermate and had a look ..... PCB not showing anything on the display.
Guess its back to British Gas to have PCB replaced for third time.
For info ..... how much would it cost to buy new PCB directly ?
