Warning; Using 15/50 pumps for the DHW


I keep coming across Gledhill units.
Which have the normal every day Grundfos pump fitted.
Instead of the original.
The impellers are different.
The normal every day Grundfos pump IS NOT SUITABLE when a Plate Heat Exchanger ( PHE) is being used and where sensors are involved.

Further to our telephone conversation, I can confirm that the Grundfos pump we stock is in fact different to the standard one that most merchants stock – ours modulates down to about 50 – 60 volts whereas the standard ones stop at about 150 volts.
