No Heating Empty No Heating

Hi
Can someone please help me!
I have a boilermate 2000 and Potterton suprima
One minute the heating works and then the next it doesn't I have switched everything off and sometimes it comes back on but today I have had no heating all day. The boilermate has made loud rumbling noises when the heating is on
Please could someone give me advice with regards to checking the temperature etc as it only seems to happen when the weather gets very cold
Please help!

BM 2000 will NOT give heat if;
The unit drop below 60c.
It lets the unit heat up giving hot water priority.
Have you checked that the unit is full?
And taking water? You could have a blocked cold feed to the unit.
Also check the boiler pump is ok.
The left hand pump.
