How do we lower the thermostat on our Pulsacoil 2000?
Firstly, great website we have just fixed our 'no hot water' problem by filling up the top tank
However, our next problem is this.
When the hot water comes through, it is scalding. We have a small baby and do not want to risk her getting burnt.
When we bought the property, the water was never that hot and we complained to the property developers. We recall them sending an engineer and him saying he had 'upped' the temperature of the water, we would now always have piping hot water.
However, it is TOO hot!
How do we turn it down?

PC 2000 is heated by a rod stat to 70 plus c.
The hot water is NOT adjustable.
It should be 50 to 55 c.
If really hot you could have a sensor problem, pump PCB or pump.

Shouldn't need to turn the thermostat rod down.
Yes you shouldn't have to turn the thermostat temperature down. I agree with Mike, it most likely is a sensor or PCB issue. Just to confirm the thermostat hasn't failed, is there steam in the cupboard? If there is and your lid is secure on the F&E tank, the thermostat rod(s) may have failed.
