no feed to boiler pump Empty no feed to boiler pump

Post  Roydaniels Thu Feb 13, 2014 12:25 pm

I have changed the pcb on my gledhil systemate 2000 as it was exhibiting a lot of problems. I have installed a new pcb but now boiler pump is not getting getting a signal. I have by-passed it to run constant to restore heating but this is not ideal. Any ideas? The led illuminates and and the boiler fires as normal but the pump just doesn't get the message. Could this just be a sensor or a faulty pub?

The New pcb was fitted as per the book with jumper in no5 for commissioning And then removed. Connections all seem ok. Old board was not sending signal to boiler, would not run heating pump, the dhw pump ran constantly and the display showed 'on' all the time but would not give any readings for sensors. My next step is to phone the Gledhill technical help line. I want them to help me find out if the board is ok.

Can you read the sensors now?

I can read all the sensors now and everything seems fine. There doesn't seem to be any odd readings. The only other thing I have noticed is, the heating can be switched on and the heating pump will run before the store reaches 65deg. The book says this should not happen.

I would say PCB is faulty.
You have the jumpers on correct.
Try setting it again.

The jumpers are correct (1&4). I think it is the pcb but I need confirmation and I am not sure how to do this. What do you mean by setting it again? Switch off mains and start as if recommissioning?
Very grateful for your help.
