Boiler pump running constantly
My boiler pump is running constantly (and boiler LED is on constantly).
However the boiler has been wired into the non-switched supply for some reason.
What temperature is the switched supply and boiler pump supposed to turn off, I assume it was what is shown on the menu, i.e. on @ 65degc and off @ 68degC, however I set my boiler to max and neither LED turned off and the ST temperature was over 72degc.....
Maybe the board is faulty and does not thermostatically switch, or is the switch on/switch off temperature different to that which is displayed on the ACB?
Any help would be appreciated...

Will that help it though mike if it is not switching? Will the boiler just trip on overtemp....?
Cheers

Check the store sensor.
If in doubt use a temperature probe/ tester.
And sort the wiring out

Boiler Pump Constantly
Hi. New to this. Just bought a house with a boiler mate 2000. Boiler circulation pump running contantly. Other two pumps cut in on demand but boiler pump on all the time. Been reading the posts. How do I alter the temperature of the water as, when the pump is rumming, it is on it is red hot. What temp should the stored water be?

Sorry if I'm wrong but could this issue be because level of water in the tank is low? This is just out of interest question.

Boiler Pump
I will definately look into it. Thanks. This is a completley new system to me so I don't even know how to tell how much water is in the tank?

Cheers for that, the store temp sensor mirrors the readout on the boiler (viessman) - 72degC and rising , but the lights and pump never switch off. I will try it in the switched live but I am assuming it will just trip on overtemp.....

Mike, cheers for that, the bit of information I was missing is that the boilermate re-commisions itself the first time, after sorting the wiring and doing a power cycle it is functioning correctly now.
I don't know whether switching the main supply on and off will have detrimental effect to my boilers reliability... it has a 240v switch input to turn the actual boiler on and off, whilst leaving the control circuits powered separately.
Thanks for your help...

Re: Boiler pump running constantly
Sometimes switching off for 30 seconds and then back on can reboot it.
