No Hot water without Boost

Hello Everyone,

fairly new to this. I have moved to a new property and my boiler is not working properly.

I got a timer and it is set from 2am-6am, and then again in the evening from 5-7pm. However, the water doesn't get hot, it's very low warm(you can't shower) and when I press on boost, the water gets heated properly.

Can anyone help on what the problem could be? Am I setting the time incorrectly?

You need to be heating the unit at night on off peak for 7 hours.
If the timer etc is ok.
The it may be bottom heater
Bottom rod stat.
If you are getting hot water on boost then that is all it can be.
