Only hot water with boost on

We can only get hot water when the boost button is on, it doesn't work with the on or off peak buttongs so we had someone out (Plumbingforce who installed the water tank) and they said the PCB needed replacing and the part was 1474/4GS, however this is a new system only fitting in Jan 2014 but they said that part was not covered by the guarantee, but surely if they fitting the water tank in Jan, then they would have had to fit the electrics? Can you confirm that this part is a Plusacoil part and that makes sense as the off peak and on peak buttons don't work and we can only get hot water when the boost button is on?

PC A class fitted in Jan 2014, what the complete unit?
If you are getting hot water with the boost then the ON Peak is working.
I think you need to check & confirm which unit you have.
And perhaps take some pictures of the unit and all the controls.

And if the unit was fitted new in Jan 2014.
Then it will still be under guarantee, did you register the unit with Gledhill?

Hi Mike, that is the problem, I am the landlady and was away when it was fitted so my son arranged this and I can only assume the electrics would have to be fitted with the tank. I do have images as attached, however, it was not regisered with Gledhill.
