No hot water in afternoon

Hi,

I'm on economy 7. I can get a shower's worth of hot water in the morning but there's only luke warm water in the afternoon and evening. Do I have to use my 'boost' to get hot water in the afternoon? Is that how the system works or is it faulty? The boost button is very expensive i think.

Check the unit is full.
The header tank may need water.
Time clock for E 7 ok?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for getting back to me. The header tank is filled to the right level. I don't know where the E7 time clock is but it's giving me some hot water in the morning so I think it's working. It's just not enough to last the day. I had the circuit board replaced just before Christmas as I wasn't getting any hot water at all. It's better than it was but I don't know how good I can expect it to be. Is it something you'd have a look at it in person?
