Boilermate ll Thermostat Replacement
Hi All
Green light on my boilermate won't turn off so I'm thinking it's the thermostat as I can't imagine it being the PCB's. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could talk me through how to change the thermostat.
I've tried pulling the small long metal thermostat from the hole but it won't come out and it would appear to be stuck
Thanks for any advice
Grant

Well it should come out.
It has a very thin wire attached?
If not try cooling it down by running water off etc.

Thanks Mike I've been tugging at the thin wire and it doesn't want to come out. I'll run some water from it and try again.
Will let you know how I get on.
Cheers Mike

Re: Boilermate ll Thermostat Replacement
Hi Mike
Just to let you know that I managed to replace the thermostat and the the light now finally going out but the boiler is still making the same sound as if it's on?
Do you think its the pump drive PCB that's faulty? I would have expected that when the thermostat light goes out the boiler would switch off but it hasn't, just sounds like it's still heating up the water.
