Boilermate 2000 & suprima boiler.
Having trouble with my boilermate/suprima had to change boiler pump due to being faulty so drained boilermate, then couldn't refill system so had to force fill from bottom brain with mains water.
Everything seemed to work fine but now the boiler fires when using hot water/heater but after a short period the light in boiler goes to static orange which I believe means it's calling for heat. Any ideas how to sort would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Boilermate 2000 & suprima boiler.
You have a blockage.
Try putting some cleaner in.
If the unit is a 150 litre then that needs 1.5 bottles.
Plus a bottle for every 10 rads
Try connecting a flexi pipe to the unit at the top (15 mm connection) from the ball valve cold feed and filling / clearing that way.
To get the cleaner in.
You can turn off a rad at both ends.
Undo and empty rad. Use funnel or what ever and put cleaner in that way.
Run the unit and heating for a period of time.
Then just run the unit / boiler and to keep it running just run off DHW to make boiler run / heat the unit.
There are other ways / things to try and do.
BUT if the blockage is solid it could be game over.

Re: Boilermate 2000 & suprima boiler.
Cleaner cheap stuff from screwfix etc will do
You need the right amount more not less.
You stated you had to back fill it, hence the blockage
Why I suggested what to do in my post.
If you were to put your area in your post.
Someone might offer their services!
