Leak from hit water store
Hi,
I was wondering if you could help.
I noticed water coming through my kitchen ceiling and traced it to my boilermate 2000 hot water store upstairs.
I have isolated and drained it.
It was dripping out of the hot water outlet that heats the cold water feed in the exchanger.
But the whole underside of the store is soaked through.
Is there a way to get further into the tank? How do the connections mate with the tank on the other side of the front panel?
Thanks

I fear the answer is you can't get further in to fix it.https://boilermate-repairs.co.uk/replacing-a-boilermate.html

I'm afraid not. A new appliance is the only fix.
The stub-pipes emerging through the outer case are brazed into the copper tank inside.
