No hot water after leak from flat above
Hi
We have no hot water coming from our Pulsacoil 2000 - this seems to have happened since a lot of water from the flat above leaked into our flat and into the water heater. We had a plumber round but he doesn't know much about it and couldnt see anything immediately wrong.
We have filled up the grey bucket at the top which doesnt seem to have helped, the red LED is flashing twice a second (which I think is normal) and it feels like the pump is hot and it makes a noise so sounds like it is doing something. The fault light isn't on either.
Anyone have any idea what the problem might be or how we could investigate / solve?
Thanks very much.

Re: No hot water after leak from flat above
If you had a leak from above and water entered your heater.
Does the pump run when a tap is turned on?
And does it stop after awhile?
If you need the book on your unit.
Down load from the Gledhill web site.

There could be multiple probelms
The leak from above may have damaged the electrical supply. You could also be having problems with your immersion element, thermostat or even contactor. I would strongly recommend you use an experianced engineer to inspect the unit and the electrical supply.
