Running Pump.

I have a boilermate 2. Not had many problems over the last 20 years. However the boiler pump is now constantly running. The neon light goes out but the pump keeps running. I have spoken to the Gledhil phone line and have since changed the delay timer PCB and fitted a new thermostat. The pump still runs all the time. The boiler, a Baxi solo2 has just had a new PCB, new fan and a new gas valve so is working extremely well. All radiators are very hot. The temperature dial doesn't seem to alter the temperature of the radiators. Any advice would be most gratefully accepted.

Sounds similar to the problems I recently had, after changing my delay timer I had to turn down the tank thermostat slightly as the boiler water temp was lower than the tank thermostat setting. Apparently over time the boiler output temp drops slightly, can be for a number of reasons, I haven't investigated this issue yet but tweaking the tank thermostat slightly solved my issue and it's all working as it should now.
