Boilermate 2000 ideal classic boiler
Hi everyone help.
Boilermate 2000 linked to an ideal Classic boiler. Today it’s as is the boiler isn’t firing up. There’s a slight humming sound to the boiler. I’ve checked the header tank and there’s water in it. The second pump isn’t showing any lights whereas the first pump has three lights illuminated. Had two new pumps and psb 2 years ago Help. Step by step would be great as I haven’t a clue. Oh for a lottery win so I don’t have to struggle with this bloody system every now and then.

System Issues
Hi if you can check a few points it will help figure out what might be wrong.
First thing. Is the display on the pcb showing -on or perhaps =on or is it blank. If it's blank the pcb is duff.
If it is showing correctly what happens if you press SW2 (lower of the two small push buttons just to the left of the display. If nothing happens the pcb is duff. It should show the tank temperature on the first push, second push is the heat exchanger temp. and 3rd is hot water return they will be low of course 30 degrees or whatever as no heat. If any show silly temperatures like 99 or -err you have a sensor problem.
If all above are OK you should have the bottom green LED on (boiler) and second one up on (boiler circulating pump). If LED on but not pump running and no boiler it is probably the pcb. If they are not on the timer if it controls hot water might be an issue.
Have a look at the videos on my website they show fault symptoms and how it should behave. I can repair or replace GT155 pcb see website for details.
