Boilermate 2000 hot water but no heating.
Hi
i ve got a boilermate 2000 with a potterton suprima boiler. We are getting hot water but no heating. i ve changed the central heating pump (Grundfos UPS3) . i ve just changed the main board GT155. We still carnt get our heating on. The heating LED will just not light up and start the pump. The diagnostic readings are 71-41-H57 at the min. Our boiler LED is amber (solid). I know i ve prob replaced parts i didn’t need to. I ve rang 2 local heating engineers and as soon as i said boilermate 2000 the “i m busy for the next 2-3weeks” excuse came out.
Anyone with any ideas??

Scott, firstly the easiest. Have you checked your room thermostat? Is it turned UP?

I’m not an Electrician or a Plumber, just an owner…. I’ve found the Danfoss motorised valves don’t last, you can check them with a multimeter - https://community.screwfix.com/threads/valve-microswitch.127884/

Good suggestion, but the op's Boilermate 2000 does not have a motorised valve. The Boilermate iii was the only one and Gledhill dropped it pretty rapidly (due to reliability problems I suspect).
Intermittent/ Unstable hot water supply for Pulsecoil 2000
Recently moved in to a flat with Pulsecoil 2000
We have been told by our landlord to keep off peak switch on and only uses on peak switch for a short burst of hot water supply when needed.
Unfortunately, the delivery of hot water has been extremely inconsistent despite having on peak switch turned on for more than an hour. There’s often cessation of hot water in the middle of shower and the water just turn freezing cold. This condition is occasionally relieved by having the hot water tap on for a while but the trick doesn’t seem to always work.
Would appreciate any advice on where the problem might be and how to resolve them. Do we need to call an engineer in for this ?
