very little hot water help
Hi.
I wonder if you can help. The hot water from my pulsacoil 2000, is very limited, one shower and the water runs luke warm. The timer is on cheap rate setting from midnight till 6am.
I have followed instructions on this site (which is a great help, thanks for setting it up!!) and have found the following things.
1. the header tank was empty-so filled it
2. the pump seemed weak so took off the cap and although on the 3rd setting was sending out a weak jet.
3. the led is flashing 7 times per second. does this mean i need to replace a sensor.
I hope you can help, as we have been on luke warm showers, ok for the summer, but now we are in winter brrrr!!
cheers

Re: very little hot water help
Hi Laurence
The fault you are describing is a faulty hot water temperature sensor that needs replacing as it appears to be breaking down.
This isn't a big job for a Gledhill specialist. Check the list of specialists on this forum to find your nearest one.

Sensor issue or pump problem
It sounds like the sensor(s) have become faulty. I would start off with that.
