Hi harsha,

The guarantee has long expired! It would have been for two years.

I've no idea what switch you mean. Are you sure this is a boilermate 2000?

Does your hot water still work?

And where are you in the UK? Have a look in the section here where repair technicians advertise their services.

Cheers, Mike

Dear Mike,

I live in London , Chadwell heath RM6 4BT. It is definately boilermate 2000.
On the boiler tank there is a clock like a timer which is on the top right of the tank , and slightly on the left there is a little black swict which can be set to three diffrent settings one is heating , second hotwater and third run normal. Now the first switch make a rattling noise, second is fine and third is fine. I have hot water no problem, but the heating is not coming on? I really need help a no local pluber can fix this problem, One told me the elcetric board is faulty the other said may be the motors don't work , and there appears to be three motors situated below the tank?
Can you come and look at it? Or recommend someone? Please let me know cost beforehand. Much obliged.

Harsha

Sounds to me as though you may have some sort of modification to your Boilermate. Should still be reasonably easy to fix though. I'll email you.

Have you looked through the other engineers advertising their services on here?
