Gulfstream 2000 boiler fan always on.
Boiler Fan stays on. Fan PCB has a flashing light on the right hand light when the harness is removed from the main pcb board the light goes out.
Does anyone know about faults that cause this concern,
many thanks,
Steve.

Re: Gulfstream 2000 boiler fan always on.
Hi Steve,
Intersting! I have a Gulfstream fan here on my desk now and I can't see an LED on the fan board on this one. However, I'm not surprised the light goes out if you unplug plugs from the control board!
Read the instructions book carefully - find the section that tells you how to see the pulses being sent by the ACB control board to the fan. If your board is sending the correct pulses you probably have a dead fan (even though it runs all the time). If the pulses are wrong then a new ACB will probably fix it. Hard to be sure with Gulfstreams though. They can be horrible things to work on...
Cheers, Mike

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply. I will check this out. Anyway i think i may of given slighlty the wrong information as i meant the Fan control pcb which has x2 red lights with the right hand HL1 light flashing the board has x2 inputs to the board the lead from the ACB and the lead from the main Fan. Although thinking about your reply it can only be one fo three things the main ACB the fan control PCB or the Fan's own PCB. I will have to check.
Many thanks
Steve.

Yes the trouble with board problems is that you often can't definitively diagnose. You just have to buy the boards and try swapping them.
