NO hot water. Steam from boiler room! Empty NO hot water. Steam from boiler room!

Hi there,

I tried to run a bath today and the water went cold after a little while. When i opened the boiler cupboard a whole load of steam came out. The green light is on and there does not seem to be a problem but the cupboard is boiling hot.

NO hot water. Steam from boiler room! Empty Most likely the thermostat rods have failed.

Order 2 new thermostat rods via this link: Gledhill Pulsacoil 2000 Spares

Replace them and you should be fine. Make sure the elements the thermostats are going into are not leaking.
