pulsacoil 2000
We have recently bought a flat with a Pulsacoil 2000 fitted.
After several attempts to get hot water I read your article (very helpful) and found the header tank nearly empty. This is now re filled and we have hot water, BUT the heat exchanger is buzzing well after the tap has been swtched off, is this normal?
Should we get more than one shower a day from the stored hot water using off peak?

Re: pulsacoil 2000
Hi KW,
The heat exchanger cannot buzz - it is a passive item! it's the circuit board that buzzes, and this is normal. It buzzes as it powers the pump untill about 30 seconds after you've turned a tap OFF.
Re. how many showers, it depends on the flow rate of your shower and the size of the PulsaCoil. Measure the shower flow rate using a callibrated bucket and post the results here.
Cheers, Mike
