Boilermate 2000 trips off RCD
Hi,
Boilermate 2000 keeps tripping the rcd switch in the consumer unit during normal operation but works fine on emergency operation. I am currently running on emergency operation, only used when needed.
Any ideas as to what could be the problem?

Re: Boilermate 2000 trips off RCD
A residual-current device (RCD), is an electrical safety device that disconnects a circuit whenever it detects that the electric current is not balanced between the energized conductor (Live) and the return (Neutral) conductor. Such an imbalance can be caused by current leakage through the following:
• Overheated /damaged cabling
• Faulty PCB
• Water penetration to circuitry
