Diverter valve Empty Diverter valve

Post  wesplaya Tue Feb 10, 2009 3:49 am

Hi,

Following the 'commonly asked questions' on the www.boilermate-repairs.co.uk website it seems the problem i have with my central heating system is a Diverter Valve failure; my radiators are constantly on full heat regardless of adjusting the room thermostat. I'm not sure where exactly my Diverter Valve is though...? i've looked in my user manual and theres no indication of such valve...? Is it also known as a 3 port valve by any chance? Any help will be much appreciated...

Hi wesplaya,

Yes, the terms 'diverter valve' and 'three port valve' are interchangeable. Different names for exactly the same thing.

CH constantly ON is usually control board failure though....
