Pulsacoil 2000 alternatives?
Hello.
What is a reliable replacement thermal store for a Pulsacoil 2000? Are there thermal stores which can be serviced by a normal plumber (who charges normal prices)?
My flat has a Pulsacoil 2000 that has had a catalog of problems, and now appears to be leaking - I'm having to fill header tank every few days.
The infernal device has been nothing but headache, and when it goes wrong it's really expensive to get repairs, so I want to do away with it and put in something more reliable.
I'm actually thinking of putting in an electric shower as we often run out of hot water (too many people showering), and I suppose some sort of instant electric water heater for the bathroom sink & kitchen sink.
Are there any alternatives to a thermal store I should look at?
I don't think I can use a standard hot water (unvented) tank as there is no drainage in the hot water cupboard.
I can't use gas (because there is none in the building!).
Thanks for reading.
Moon.

IMi
and Albion make units which might suit you.
The Gledhill replacement would be the Pulsacoil BP unit in what ever size you require ( litres)
These units have 2 heaters and a mixer valve. Nothing much to go wrong really.
