REPAIR IN BRISTOL/PORTISHEAD AREA Empty REPAIR IN BRISTOL/PORTISHEAD AREA

My systemate 3 is producing hot water from the taps and showers for only 5-10 seconds before turing cold. The heating is working fine. This problem has been getting worse thoughout the summer and now has reduced to 5-10 seconds. Does anyone know of soemone in this area who will know this system and a quick fix solution.

Sounds like a sensor issue, check the temperature reading on your pcb and let me know your findings.

Kind regards

OK
The DHW sensor reading is about 68, it plumits when you run the hot water tap, every now and then it is displaying the error code. In fact it is doing it intermitantly when the temperature goes back up to a stable-ish 68.

Thanks for the help.

Sadly no further forward. Water still exits the taps or shower nice and hot for about 10 seconds and then turns cold. The heat exchanger is hot before hand but then when the water turns cold and you return to touch it, it is stone cold as is the associated pipes. Should I be waiting a certain lenght of time before testing it, or should I see results instantly?

I have now in additon to the motorised valve replaced the following.

All 3 sensors
Pump (from the heat exchanger) The pump was full of hardened scale, with only a small hole in the middle left for the water to travel through.

Any more thoughts?

I fixed my problem back in October, after replacing all the sensors and the DHW Pump, it turned out to be a cracked heat exchanger.

In the last few days a new problem has started, now the DHW is not lasting very long and is unpredictable, the temperature is up and down like a yo yo.

Any ideas on my new gremilin?

No one seems to want to touch my systemate iii, today a plumber has come out, fitted a new storage sensor which does not fit this system, now I have no hot water and no heating!!!!!! The answer I am getting from most companies is get rid of it. Does any one know if I am better off getting rid and replacing with a Combi Boiler system? The system is 12 years old and in the five years I have owned it, has only worked perfectly for 2 years.
