How to Drain down and re-fill Boilermate 2000 Empty How to Drain down and re-fill Boilermate 2000

Hi,

I have a boilermate 2000 fitted which i would like to add some system cleaner into(via radiator or F/E tank), then run it for a few days and drain off.

Could someone give a 'how to' on the best methods / practice to achieve this and also the re-filling methods.

The reason for me doing this is that i have had a few leaks on the system. Mainly the DHW pump union is worse but also the CH pump union is leaking so some of the inhibitor that was originally in the system has now leaked through my ceiling. After cleaning i will add some inhibitor back to the CH system.

On another note is it common for the copper pipe to pump connections to leak? Do these seals deteriorate after time?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

If you are now going to clean your system.
And sort out the various leaks etc.
The manual will tell you how to re commission it again.
