Which replacement pump for DHW
Hi,
Can some one tell me which pump I should be using on the domestic hot water side of the Systemate 2000.
Some one has posted a warning not to use the standard 15/50 pumps as it doesn't work at voltages below 150v.
The pump speed is regulated by the ACB based on the temp at PHE sensor, so I am told?
Many Thanks

Re: Which replacement pump for DHW
Yes that is correct.
The normal pumps you can buy anywhere are not suitable.
Not designed to work at the lower voltage.
If you look in your manual, at the rear section you will find parts and the numbers.
XB001 is yours.
It also fits the BM 2000, PC 2000.And others.
Also on all posts the name of that person who posted is there.
And I usually sign my posts too.

Thanks Mike,
Will try and source an XB001. Been searching for a while and couldn't remember if I read it on this site or another
:-)
Should the XB001 be used for all three pumps or can you get away with 15/50 UPS for space heating and Boiler pumps. That is what is currently fitted, probably by previous occupier.
Many thanks for your help.

Re: Which replacement pump for DHW
For heating and boiler pumps on the various units use what ever you like.
But the Grundfos 15/50 or 15/60 on the larger units are my choice every time.

Hi Mike,
Can you confirm if a check valve should be fitted to this DHW pump. There was one on there but needed changing. I am waiting for the part but the system seems to be working ok without it. I can see that its needed on the boiler pump and space heating pump
Many thanks
