Two bottles in 12 months
Just had plumber around to replace leaking PRV, three weeks ago he fitted a new bottle, he commented that the bottle seema very noisy and we would expect them to last over 8 months.
Is it possible that the pump used in the bottle circuit is less efficient and is not circulating water fast enough causing the heater to fail prematurely. Two of the pumps are 10 years old only the DHW pump has been replaced.

Hi Mike, by bottle I mean the heater assembly.
Sorry plumber called it a bottle due to it's shape.

I think I may have had a similar issue here: https://gledhill-repairs.forumotion.net/t1479-drop-in-voltage-to-boiler-pump-issue
