Heating does not come on even with over ride

.When the control circuit is switched on with both hot water and heating rocker switches on constant, the control system shows a flashing dot (indicating controller working ok). The external digistat thermostat shows a need for heat but V1.4(stat call for heat) does not light up nor does H2.2 (CH pump on). If the control circuit is turned off and on again these light show for a few seconds, the pump runs and then switches off.

Over ride makes no difference.

The hot water and boiler works fine.

I live in Dronfield near Sheffield.

Please can anyone help?.

I have followed your advice and had contact from connectheating who I hope will sort this out after the holiday. Linda.

I had to take out a year contract for £354 to get an engineer to come. He tried replacing the main board to no avail. The problem was eventually traced to a lower voltage signal between the thermostat and the boilermate. When the thermostat was bridged out it worked fine. We had to buy another thermostat at over £100 and now the heating is back to normal. Expensive lesson.

Fixed price repair.
And 1 years breakdown cover parts and labour as well?
