Boilermate II leak
Boilermate II is leaking!! However I think the leak is coming from the connection of the little pipe that connects the F&E to the cylinder. Is it possible to repair this?

Re: Boilermate II leak
BM II there are some old ones where you can not remove the top tank.
But very rare.
If you can see a nut / connection then yes you can.
Empty top tank (turn water off)
Remove cold feed / ball valve supply.
And overflow.
Undo cold feed and vent connections and gently lift off top tank.
You will need;
1 x 1/2" fibre washer
1 x 3/4" fibre washer.
Ptfe or compound to.
Refit and connect, test job done

Re: Boilermate II leak
Hi Mike. Thanks for the info. I have since decided to replace the whole unit and system for a combi boiler. This leak must have been going for a while as the unit was quite badly rusted.
All the best.
