ACB Jumper Settings Empty ACB Jumper Settings

Post  sesimon3 Sun Sep 12, 2010 5:53 am

I have just replaced the ACB Board, but am confused about the jumper settings. The removed ACB had jumpers 1&4 connected, but according to the manual, it should have 1,3,& 4 connected. The system is a Boilermate2000, but connected to a solar heating system.
Do you know what difference having Jumper 3 on or off, makes?

Check on Gledhill site for te whole range of BM2000. AS in open vent, sealed and solar.
If not check with Gledhill.
Is it working?

Hi Mike, thanks for your response.
I was advised to replace the ACB after a fault with the pump running continuously. It appears to have fixed this fault now.
The system appears to work whether Jumper 3 is in place, or not in place. The installation manuals point towards Jumper 3 to be in place for a BM2000, and not in place for a Systemate2000. The original ACB was set up with this jumper missing (ie Systemate setting). The boiler is definitely a BM2000.
I cannot find any info on Gledhill site.

Well if ok leave as is.
Or give Gledhill a call just to check.
Even at 60p a minute would put your mind at rest.
I asumme you fitted the board as per instructions.
A jumper has to be put on number 5 I think then it goes through its set up.
Then the jumper is removed.
That board is used on a few models.
